Our Topics

Conference Tracks

Data Science and Artificial Intelligence

Track 1
This track explores the foundations, methodologies, and applications of Data Science, focusing on its transformative impact across diverse domains. This track invites researchers and practitioners to present cutting-edge innovations and discuss emerging challenges in harnessing data for actionable insights. Topics include but are not limited to:
  • Advanced machine learning and deep learning techniques
  • Big data analytics and visualization
  • Predictive modeling and decision-making systems
  • Data ethics, privacy, and governance
  • Applications of Data Science in healthcare, education, environment, and business

Geoinformatics and GeoAI

Track 2
Geoinformatics has become a cornerstone in understanding and managing spatial data, and this track emphasizes its convergence with Artificial Intelligence (GeoAI). This track welcomes work that demonstrates the fusion of geospatial technologies with AI to tackle complex challenges and deliver innovative solutions. Key areas include:
  • Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and remote sensing technologies
  • Spatial data analysis and modeling
  • Integration of AI and machine learning in geospatial applications
  • Application of AI-powered predictive analytics in disaster risk assessment and early warning systems.
  • Implementation of AI-driven traffic control and intelligent transportation systems (ITS)
  • Integration of drone technology for infrastructure inspection and urban planning assessments.

IoT and Security in Geoinformatics

Track 3
The Internet of Things (IoT) is revolutionizing geoinformatics by enabling real-time data collection and interaction with the physical environment. However, this also introduces critical concerns about security and data integrity. Topics of interest include:
  • IoT-based geospatial data collection and analysis
  • Cybersecurity challenges in geoinformatics
  • Secure data sharing and interoperability in IoT ecosystems
  • Blockchain and other advanced technologies for geospatial data integrity
  • Applications of IoT in agriculture, transportation, and environmental monitoring
IEEE Conference Scope

The conference welcomes original research and practical contributions within, but not limited to, the following IEEE technical areas:

  • Signal Processing & Analysis
  • Geoscience
  • General Topics for Engineering (Math, Science, and Engineering)
  • Computing & Processing (Hardware/Software)

Author Information

Call for Papers

The conference welcomes submissions in two primary IEEE categories:

  • Research / Full Papers – Presenting novel technical contributions such as new algorithms, systems, or experimental results.
  • Review / Survey Papers – Including Systematic Literature Reviews (SLR), literature surveys, and state-of-the-art reviews. Submissions in this track should follow a clear methodology (e.g., PRISMA, Kitchenham), employ a comprehensive and reproducible search strategy, provide a critical synthesis rather than a simple summary, and highlight contributions by identifying gaps and guiding future research directions.
Paper Submission

Prospective authors are invited to submit full papers of 4-6 pages (including tables, figures and references) in standard IEEE double-column format. Please submit your paper via https://edas.info/newPaper.php?c=34472. New users are required to register with EDAS before paper submission.

Selection Process

All paper submissions will be checked for originality. Due to IEEE policy, papers with high similarity score (iThenticate > 20%) may not be accepted by the conference. All submitted papers are subjected to a blind peer review process by 2-3 reviewers. Decision of a paper acceptance is based on the average score and the comments given by the reviewers. The accepted papers must be revised according to the reviewers’ comments and suggestions, before inclusion in the conference proceedings.

Preparation of Contributions

The manuscript template (A4 template) can be downloaded from:

No Show Paper Policy

The committee reserves the right to exclude a paper from distribution after the conference if the paper is not presented at the conference. At least one author must deliver the presentation, either in person or live virtually, during the scheduled session on the conference day. Failure to present will result in the paper being excluded from consideration for inclusion in IEEE Xplore.

PDF Express

Before uploading the final version (camera ready) of your paper we kindly ask you to verify if your PDF is compatible with IEEE Xplore. IEEE offers a service for checking the PDF compatibility:

  • 1. Please go to https://ieee-pdf-express.org
  • 2. Enter the following conference ID: 70492x
  • 3. Log into the PDF Express Website. If you do not have an account please create one.
  • 4. Follow the steps to complete the PDF verification process.
